CBAM’s Chris Blades attended the Los Angeles Community College District’s Transgender Summit at Los Angeles Trade Tech. The purpose of the summit was to share information, resources, and ideas to support transgender/gender-nonconforming individuals at the community colleges within Los Angeles County. Sessions at this summit focused on a variety of issues including internalized transphobia, how to empower LGBTQ youth, as well as cultural competency for businesses.
